On some ships, the lines will set aside a bar, usually with an outdoor space, for cruisers to light up; you'll find the European lines are laxer with their smoking rules than the U.S. ones. Some ships have designated cigar bars where smoking is allowed. Certain lines still allow smoking in casinos, but many have banned it there, including Seabourn, Crystal, Celebrity, Oceania and Windstar.
